Who's Presenting

Sara Hollander is a working travel advisor and co-founder of Travina. Sara became a travel advisor in 2020 after a career as an executive in the wine industry. Vacation rentals were the part of the job that never worked. She was steering families back into hotels because she could not find a home she could stand behind, and the platforms that did have inventory either paid almost nothing or priced the same property thousands above Airbnb.

While hunting for a large home in North Carolina, she started calling property managers directly and found the gap: they had beautiful, professionally managed homes and no idea travel advisors even existed as a channel. She built Travina with co-founder Leigh Scott to close it. Sara still sells travel every week, so this walkthrough comes from someone who uses the platform the way you will.
